Where are you Located?

We are located in Fairlawn, Ohio. 2975 W Market St, Fairlawn OH 44333. The same plaza with the Ohio BMV, Talbots and Mr. G's Pizzeria.

What are your Hours?

Our current hours are: Monday-Friday: 11 AM - 5PM Saturday-Sunday: 10 AM - 5 PM Follow us on social media @maggiesprom and @maggiesohio for any closure updates.

Do you Offer Alterations?

We do not offer in-house alterations. However, we do have a list of trusted local seamstresses that we frequently recommend to our customers. Please call us for recommendations.

Do You Need an Appointment to Try On Wedding Dresses?

Yes. Appointments are required for bridal. View our bridal page for appointment types and to book.

What Is Your Price Point For Wedding Dresses?

The vast majority our wedding gowns come from our Maggie's Collection, with prices starting at just $1,499 and going up to $1,900--making beautiful, high-quality dresses accessible for a wide range of budgets. For brides looking for something more elaborate, we also offer our Maggie's Couture Collection, which features gowns priced between $1,999 and $4,000. With a diverse selection of styles and price points, our goal is to help every bride find the perfect dress, no matter her budget. What is your Size Range?

Our in-store sample sizes range from size 4-28; however, any gown can be ordered up to a size 40. We measure every bride to ensure the best fit! We currently have 35 sample gowns size 18+, 10 gowns size 26+ with more coming soon!

Who Should I Bring to my Appointment?

We recommend bringing a small group of your closest, most supportive people--those whose opinions you trust and who truly understand your style and vision. Typically, this includes a parent, sibling, or best friend. Keep in mind that too many opinions can be overwhelming. Ultimately, bring those who will celebrate with you, make you feel confident, and help you say "yes" to the dress with joy!

Are Kids Allowed?

Yes, children and infants are welcome during appointments. We do ask that there be no running around or disrupting commotion to respect other brides' experiences as well!

Do You Allow Food or Champagne?

Outside food is not allowed in bridal appointments. Brides are permitted to bring their own champagne. We ask that you call to inform us before your appointment.

What Should I Bring to my Appointment?

-Be sure to wear comfortable undergarments when coming to your appointment. All of our gowns have bra cups, so a bra is not required. Bring shapewear if you plan on wearing it on your wedding day.

-Bring ideas for your wedding style (whether it's a specific theme, color palette, or dress style) to help our stylists understand your vision.

-Bring an open mind - we're here to help you find the perfect gown, so be open to trying on styles you may not have initially considered!

-Most importantly, bring your excitement--finding the dress of your dreams is a special moment, and we're here to help make it unforgettable!

When Should I Shop for my Wedding Dress?

Our current lead time for our gowns is 4-6 months. We recommend shopping at least 10 months before your wedding for ample time for alterations. For Brides with quick wedding dates we offer a selection of off-the-rack wedding dresses as well as rush special orders for a $150 fee.

Do you Offer Military Discounts?

Yes. All military members receive 10% off with proof of ID.

Do you Offer Payment Plans?

We do not currently offer payment plans. Brides are required to put a minimum half-down deposit at the time of their appointment. The remaining balance is due before or on the date of pickup.

Are All of your Gowns Special Order?

The majority of our gowns are special order. After saying yes, the bride will be measured and ordered the proper size. We do offer a small selection of off-the-rack gowns sold at a discounted price.

Can I Customize my Wedding Dress?

Yes! The majority of our gowns can have customizations done.

Do you Carry Mother of the Bride/Groom Dresses?

We no longer carry Mother of the Bride/Groom dresses.

Do you Have Bridal Accessories?

Yes! We have a selection of veils, earrings, gloves, and tiaras. No appointment is required to view accessories.

Do you Welcome LGBTQIA?

Yes! We are an inclusive bridal store and welcome every type of bride!

Do you Offer Suits and Tuxedos?

We offer custom suits and tuxedos with a starting price of $999. Please email the tuxedo manager ben@maggiesohio.com to book a styling appointment.

What if I Have a Close Wear Date?

Is your wedding soon? No problem! A rush can be added to any special order dress for a $150 fee. Rush gowns can arrive in approximately 12 weeks. We also have a selection of sample gowns sold off the rack starting at $700.

Prom FAQ

Do you Need an Appointment to Try On Dresses?

Appointments are not required to shop for prom or homecoming! Walk-ins are welcome! Our busiest days are weekends, and there may be a waitlist. We recommend coming right at opening to avoid the wait.

What Kinds of Dresses Do you Have?

Maggie's offers a large selection of prom and homecoming dresses. At the peak of homecoming season, there are 700+ dresses in store. At the peak of prom season, there are 1,400+ dresses in store, with new arrivals coming in weekly.

What Designers Do you Carry?

We carry the top designers for prom and homecoming: Amarra, Amelia Couture, Ashley Lauren, Ava Presley, Chandalier LA, Cinderella Divine, Ellie Wilde, Faviana, Jovani, Nox Anabel, Portia and Scarlett, Primavera Couture, Sherri Hill, Sydney's Closet and more!

What is your Size Range?

We are dedicated to having a dress for EVERYONE! Our Size range is 000-24. Please note sizes diminish as the season goes along. Sizes such as 000, 00, and 18+ tend to sell very fast, we highly recommend shopping early for the most plentiful selection!

What is your Price Point?

We strive to have a selection of dresses at a variety of price points to fit every customer's needs. Our homecoming gowns range from $80 to $800+. Our prom dresses range from $240 to $1000+. The average price point for our prom dresses is $550.

Can I Buy Dresses Online?

Yes! All gowns available in store are available to purchase on our website. To special order a dress that we do not have in store, please call 330-598-1598.

Can I Order a Dress if you Don't Have It?

Yes! If you desire a different color or size than what is available in store, or simply want to order a dress we don't have, we offer special ordering. Special orders must be paid in full and include a shipping fee. For assistance with special orders, please call 330-598-1598.

Do you Register Dresses?

Yes! We register every prom and homecoming dress to high schools to ensure no one is wearing the same dress in the same color to your event. We will not sell a dress to a customer if that style and color are already registered to the event.

Do you Offer Layaway or Holds on Dresses?

At this time, Maggie's does not offer layaway, nor do we hold dresses.

When is the Best Time to Shop for Prom?

We highly recommend coming in early to shop for your special event. This ensures that you have the largest selection of sizes and styles to choose from. Prom dresses start to arrive in mid-November, with the peak amount of dresses available in January and February. Inventory will start to decrease toward mid-April, so find your dress as soon as possible!

What Should I Bring When Shopping For a Prom or Homecoming Dress?

Great question! It is a great idea to bring inspiration photos with you so our stylists know how to bring your vision to life. If you would like, bring any necessary undergarments and heels so you can envision how your dress will look. Lastly, bring whoever's opinion matters to help you say yes to your dream dress!

What is your Return Policy?

Due to the nature of the formalwear industry, all gowns purchased in store are final sale, no refunds or exchanges. For special-ordered gowns, you must contact us within 24 hours of receiving your gown to express any concerns.

Do you Rent Dresses or Do Consignment?

We do not rent dresses or offer consignment. All gowns in-store are sold off-the-rack.
